A very enjoyable day at our Arena group meeting. We had a guest speaker Trevor Ashby, who showed us his stunning portfolio of inspiring prints. I especially enjoyed his Eden project. Over the period of 12 months he photographed structures of plants at various stages of their life cycle. Beautiful still lifes. After the meeting I just wandered into the nearby woodland. It wasn't easy to find order in the chaos. I even tried ICM to make a simple image. In the end this one was my favourite one. And I almost didn't take it. I just turned back when leaving, when I saw the soft colours and simple lines of the tree trunks.
