Our annual trip to Yorkshire Dales to celebrate our anniversary. Martin and I met 18 years ago while walking The Three Peaks of Yorkshire. Since then we do the same walk almost every year. This year we only managed two. The conditions were quite hard to start with as it was blowing a gale. Walking against the wind and up Pen-y-Ghent got the best of us, so when we finally reached the top of Whernside we decided that we will leave Ingleborough for another time. At the end of the day, we have nothing to prove. We have done the walk several times and the main thing for us is the joy of it, no matter how far we go.
