I decided to change the scenery and headed for West End before going to work. It did mean I had to take a much earlier train, but it was worth it. Covent Garden market was very quiet, just getting ready for a busy day ahead. It was wonderful to slow down and soak up the early morning atmosphere, which was so much more enjoyable than the streets flooded with usual crowds.
