At last! I managed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The tiredness got the best of me, so I missed the sunrise, but I still got out and headed for the local park just to be rewarded with a beautiful misty morning.

When walking round the pond I happened to meet another photographer. It turned out that we both already knew each other from social media and from the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition. Kasia Nowak won a second place in the Breathing Spaces category in 2014, and I remember admiring her image at the private view. Another happy coincidence that I will treasure.
