Day 237 of 366: Reminiscence of the Past

Borough Market – London’s best, and best-known food market, food connoisseur’ favourite place and also London’s oldest, dating back to the 13th century. It’s the busiest too. But if you get there early enough, before the place is flooded with with delicious gourmet goodies and irresistible smells and flavours, you can savour the atmosphere of the old times. You can watch the busy stall owners setting up for another working day. And before you leave you can grab a nice breakfast at one of the many cafes. I would recommend quintessentially English bubble and squeak at Maria’s Cafe. That will set you up for the day ahead. Delicious!
