Day 71 of 366: Time for Reflection

A day I really needed to catch up on sleep, I woke up and the streets outside our windows were shrouded in thick fog. I did my best to get to Bushy Park as quickly as possible. Just caught the last few minutes of the misty atmosphere. Soon after the sun burnt it off and the magic was gone.

Last picture before I headed off back, a rose left to dry in the bark of an old oak tree. As if somebody wanted to leave a memory behind. I wonder what their story was.

Memories of You
Waking skies at sunrise
Every sunset too
Seems to be bringing me
Memories of you

Here and there, everywhere
Scenes that we once knew
And they all just recall
Memories of you

How I wish, I could forget those
Those happy yesteryears
That have left a rosary of tears

Your face beams in my dreams
Inspite of all I do
Everything seems to bring
Memories of you
