This is just a little bit of fun. On one of my visits to Venice I noticed some of the door bells looked like faces. The more I looked the more I saw them. Each of them with a different character that made me laugh. I even got Martin addicted to looking for them on our last trip. Once we stopped by one of them, discussing whether it looked like a face or not, when the house owner turned up. She looked puzzled, but very politely and with a smile asked us "curious?" We smiled back and tried to explain what we could see. She laughed (perhaps puzzled even more) and answered "maybe", then she quickly locked the door behind her and disappeared into the safety of her house. We are not mental. Honestly.
