Early autumn dawn. The sun dances across the sky, on the rushing water and through the trees on the river bank. For a moment time stands still. There is no other sound but seagulls crying while criss-crossing the purple sky.
Just for a moment.
And as if this wasn’t enough, when I got to the office half an hour later, I was greeted by our security guard Eddie with his usual smile, and a “Wisdom Wednesday” quote:
“It’s not what you look at but what you see that matters.”
I couldn’t think of more appropriate words for the day.
