World Women Art is an international collective of artists founded by Sonia Ciafardini, alias Esse, an Italian fine art photographer living in France. Sonia is an extremely talented artist herself. Through her work she expresses the emotions of the moment she is in. Something that I can relate to and strive for as well. So when she asked me to join the group I was delighted and honoured to be in such a great company of all the amazing talents.
The aim of the group is "to spread the beauty of art in the world" in line with the famous quote by the Russian writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky. To celebrate such beauty Sonia decided to bring all the members together in the first exhibition. It will take place in Valbonne, France, from 2nd to 9th October.
I am very happy to take part in this exhibition, though I cannot attend it in person this year. However I look forward to meeting this wonderful woman, and the rest of the incredible artists at our future events. I hope that there will be many more opportunities to meet, work together and inspire each other.
In a billion years, when
The sun's fire dwindles
And ash blows across its surface
When the moon will no longer wane
And the land will not rise
When like a cold, burnt-out piece of coal
This earth revolves, lost in its orbit,
Trailing a dying sepia glow
